Weight Loss: Don't get stuck!

  Ever feel like trying to lose weight is like being stuck in a trap?

There are some very common weight loss mistakes many people make that might explain why the numbers on your scale won't budge.

Starving yourself or not eating enough is a common but unhealthy behavior. Your body was built to fight starvation by not burning as many calories when you eat too little. On the other hand, be sure you’re not eating too much, even if it’s healthy food. "Diet" or "low fat" items might be good choices, but you still need to keep your portion sizes under control. Also, butter, oils, and salad dressing may be small in size, but they pack a big punch in the calorie department!

Lastly, keep in mind what’s in your glass and not just on your fork. Drinks like coffee with creamer, soda, and alcohol can really make the calories add up.
